Happy Children's Day

Today is celebrated as Children's Day in India in remembrance of Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India who has a fond affection and love for children. His leadership qualities and vision have paved the way for a modern India with a perfect blend of our cultural values, western thinking and technological progress. Celebrating his birthday as Children's Day is a fitting tribute to that great person and this day serves as a reminder to each and every one of us, to renew our commitment to the welfare of children and teach them to live by standards and principles and be an example.
