Life has to go on...

Somehow the fact these words convey is always difficult to digest. Every one of us might have come across many moments in life where we just can’t take the reality and deep in the heart we still console ourselves with a new hope and a feeling that “Life has to go on.”
My roommate and a close friend of mine has recently left to India after completing her onsite assignment. We all roommates did a mega shopping for her to take things back home. The night before we had a delicious dinner and spent the entire night packing things for her and cracking jokes on each other. None of us realized that we are going to part within a couple of hours. The night had passed away with our smiles and giggles. We captured some beautiful snaps with her and we all started to airport pulling her leg in every possible way. Then after reaching the airport a mixture of feelings started going in our minds. As always we promised each other that we will keep in touch with each other through mails. (The only skill that all software engineers marveled at)
Seeing her going away from us, my college life has flashed through my mind. The four years spent with people whose thoughts are different, perspectives are different but all were related with a sweet bond called “Friendship”, a wonderful gift GOD has given to every human being. The anthakshari’s we played during long powercuts, the valentine day nights, the long walks in the lawns, the gossips on the love affairs, the coffee sips at mid nights, the new year bashes and the unforgettable farewell parties, getting ragged with the seniors.Even to this very day I remember the way my seniors had instructed me for asking the intro (i.e. introduction) to my other seniors. “Madam, may I have single pleasure double honor and triple satisfaction in knowing your highly honorable, prestigious and gracious introduction.” We have to repeat it until we tell this sentence perfectly without missing a single word. This act of theirs used to irritate us but that taught us how to learn things patiently. This graduation period has redefined life in a more clearer way than I used to see it before. I am in dearth of words to describe this pleasant experience going through my mind. But in a moment later
I saw my friend proceeding towards checkin leaving everyone of us. Some soothing hand has again consoled me “Dear, Life has to go on let whatever may come and go”.
